S.L.S. Hostel

This S.L.S. hostel is located in the sprawling beautiful campus 0f 3 acres at Kurubarakunte road in Devanahalli Town, Bangalore District 562110. This Hostel was established as a part of the S.L.S. Residential Public School in 2004. It is a loving gift from Smt. Lakshmamma and Sri. Seenappa. Today this Hostel has grown leaps and bounds facilities with an accommodation and other facilities from Pre-Primary to High school level.

Hostel Amenities

Primary and High school Hostel (for boys and girls):

This spacious secure building has accommodation for 30 Primary and High school students. Rooms are spacious and well ventilated. Cots and shelves are provided for each room. High school Boys are provided with writing tables. The hostel rooms are provided with an Aya or lady attendant each to look after the boarders and for the maintenance of the rooms. Hot water is provided for bath and the young ones are given bath by attendants. The hostel has 24 hours power supply through BESCOM and U.P.S.,

Hostel Admission and Fee structure:

Admission is open for boys and girls from 1st to 10th Std

School and Hostel fee structure for the academic year- 2024 – 2025

1. First Installment at the time of admission(50% of the total amount). :___________________

HOSTEL RULES

Every boarder of the Hostel is required to abide by the following rules and regulations of the Hostel.
1. Observation of the daily routine is a must for all.
2. The boarder shall maintain the highest code of discipline both inside and outside the hostel.
3. Boarders shall not leave the Hostel premises without the prior permission of the Warden / Deputy Wardens.
4. Playing the Radio, Cassette player and other audio Video equipment is not allowed in the Hostel.
5. Eatables from outside are strictly forbidden.
6. It is obligatory on the part of the boarders to keep their rooms clean and tidy.
7. Extra fittings of what so ever natures are not permitted.
8. Damage to the Hostel property will result in strict disciplinary action and recovery of the cost from the offender.
9. The boarder is neither permitted to subscribe as a member to any outside organization, nor allowed to take part in any activity not connected with the school.
10. Subscription to comics and periodicals should precede the permission of the authorities.
11. The boarder shall seek prior permission before meeting relatives and parents.
12. In matters related to the violation of the rules and regulations of the Hostel, the decision of the Hostel Committee is final.
13. The arrival/departure of the boarder shall be entered by the boarder in the Register in the office.
14. The boarders shall show their bags to the Warden at the time of departure and on arrival.
15. Possessing Mobile Phones and other electronic gadgets by the students are strictly prohibited in this campus.

HOSTEL RULES TO THE PARENTS

1. The parents shall pay the fees on or before the prescribed date through Cash or D.D. on Fedaral Bank in Favour of ” Lakshmi Sreenivas Educational Trust” payable at Devanahalli Town.
2. Hostel facilities will be withdrawn from boarders who fail to pay the hostel dues within a month from the due date and child will be sent back home.
3. It is obligatory on the part of the parents to respond to the call of the authorities.
4. Parents and Guardians will appreciate that any absence of their ward hampers his / her progress in studies. Hence it is essential that the guardians should confirm to leave rules. Leave will be granted on prior request only under unavoidable circumstances.
5. Over stay of the children is considered a breach of discipline.
6. No child is allowed to leave the Hostel without the permission of the authorities.
7. The guardians and parents are hereby informed that their wards must return to hostel on the re-opening day of the long vacation by 9.00 a.m.
8. Those who do not return on time specified will lose the privilege to their next visits and those who do not return even before the reporting day will have to pay an additional fine of Rs.100/- per day.
09. Visitors should be seen in the office room only with the permission of management, Parents and guardians are not allowed in side the Hostel rooms.
10. No Letters, money orders or parcels should be sent or received with out the knowledge of the warden.
11. There is no provision of food and accommodation to the parents or guardians.
12. Parents are requested to write directly to the management in all matters concerned with their ward.
13. If the boarder leaves Hostel premises without permission, the boarder will be dismissed immediately from the Hostel as well as from school.
14. Children returning home after holidays must always be accompanied by an escort. If any one other than the parents is sent they should bring a letter from the parents authorizing them as escorts. The same procedure holds good for taking the children home.
15. The parents / guardians are requested not to give money or any valuable things with their wards. If any of these are found with the wards the same will be confiscated by the institution. Those who violate the above rules are liable for disciplinary action. The decision of the management is final and binding.
16. The parents or the guardians who visit the students shall not bring non-vegetarian food to the campus. They shall not give any eatable to the rooms of the students.
17. The Parents are not permitted to take their wards outside the campus during their visits.
